Labor Doula

A doula is a labor companion with experience in support through labor. My role as a doula is to preserve this moment in its purest form by providing continuous support to the mom and the partner. I wish to empower women with the knowledge that this is your birth, your way. Benefits of a doula attended birth can reduce most interventions by 30% or more. There are also benefits to the mom and baby such as shorter labor, healthier newborns, increased bonding, and reductions in postpartum depression. Every mother deserves a doula.

Postpartum Doula

A postpartum doula nurtures the family after a birth. My role as a postpartum doula is to take care of the mother and new baby while showing the family how to do so as well. It is important that the mother gets lots of rest and nourishment to recover and handle the needs of baby. Every mother deserves to be pampered after delivery.
